Theresa Mercer

Theresa is a Senior Lecturer in Environmental Sustainability. Her research focuses on two main areas; environmental systems change and collaborative education approaches for environmental sustainability. She is also the Environment Programme Director, acting as a Champion for four MSc level courses covering Sustainability and Environmental Management at Cranfield University. Theresa is particularly passionate about advocating for support aimed at extended leavers within the academic and research communities, having been one herself, and exploring the development of formal support frameworks with HE institutions and research groups that provides support before, during and after periods of extended leave.
