Alan Aspuru-Guzik

Alán Aspuru-Guzik is Professor of Chemistry and Computer Science at the University of Toronto and Director of the Acceleration Consortium, a strategic initiative focused on building the “lab of the future.” He is a Canada 150 Laureate in Theoretical Chemistry, a Canada CIFAR AI Chair at the Vector Institute, and a CIFAR Fellow co-directing the Accelerated Decarbonization program. His research sits at the interface of chemistry, machine learning, and quantum information, with major contributions to quantum computing for chemical systems, molecular generative models, and autonomous chemical laboratories for accelerated discovery. Previously, he was a professor at Harvard University. He is Editor-in-Chief of Digital Discovery and co-founder of Zapata AI, Kebotix, Intrepid Labs, and Axiomatic AI.
