The Future Insight e.V. association unites like-minded individuals and organizations in its mission to support the advancement of science and technology for the benefit of humanity.
Combining science, ethics and inspiration we strive to create a world that is peaceful, equitable and full of opportunities for growth and progress, aligned on the three fundamental principles of truth, love and hope.
We will achieve this by fostering collaboration, promoting innovation, and supporting research and education initiatives that have the potential to create a bright and peaceful future for all.
The non-profit association organizes the bi-annual Curious – Future Insight Conference – one of the world’s leading gatherings on science and technology. It covers a broad range of topics and brings together some of the world’s brightest scientists and innovators to solve the challenges of today and enable the dreams of a better tomorrow.
The first conference was initiated by Merck, the world’s oldest pharmaceutical and chemical company, on its 350th anniversary in 2018. The event triggered the birth of this global movement in support of science, technology and ethics.
Our Tasks
The members of Future Insight e.V. are a diverse group of people with different backgrounds and in different stages of their careers – Students, PhDs, PostDocs, business professionals and many more! We meet once a week remotely to discuss the latest progress in organizing the next Curious conference. To do so, various tasks need to be accomplished and numerous challenges to be overcome. Our exciting responsibilities include
- Acquisition of co-sponsors & exhibitors
- Advertising the conference & reaching out to the press
- Calling for awards, abstract submissions & contributions
- Creating graphics for social media
- Inviting keynote speakers & VIP guests
- Preparing the conference program & procedure
- Sales of conference tickets
- Selecting conference venue
- Website design and development
We are always looking for motivated people from all over the world. Everyone is welcome to join us and contribute something to this thrilling conference!

Join us by creating an engaging image video, get involved as a student assistant, help us with the design of our website or by crafting an inspiring flyer that will beautifully showcase the inspiring non-profit work of Future Insight e.V., an association dedicated to shaping a better tomorrow.
As a student assistant you have the splendid opportunity to join us in remote projects with a minimum duration of 8 weeks and work in areas like marketing, design, project management, digital transformation, and many more.
