Bettina Stark-Watzinger

Federal Minister of Education and Research, Germany

Bettina Stark-Watzinger has been Federal Minister of Education and Research since December 2021. She has been member of the German Bundestag since 2017, representing constituency 181 – Main-Taunus. She is Chair of the Free Democratic Party (FDP) in Land Hesse and Member of the Federal Executive and Presidium of the FDP. Bettina Stark-Watzinger was born on 12 May 1968 in Frankfurt am Main and lives in Bad Soden am Taunus. She is married and the mother of two daughters.
